Balochistan Boy Scouts Association (BBSA)
Balochistan Boy Scouts Association (BBSA) is a provincial scouting organization of Balochistan in Pakistan and geographically exists in all the 30 districts of Balochistan, with more than 75,000 scout volunteers. It is affiliated with World Organization of the Scout Movement through Pakistan Boy Scouts Association vide registration Act 1860 (XXI of 1860).
Scouting in Balochistan started in 1943 when a Scout Unit of Islamia High School presented the Guard of Honour to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his arrival at Quetta. Since then this organization is active as a volunteer organization and works for character building of youth and for the welfare of the society. The BSA is a corporate body which is not controlled by any department and has NO connection in any way, with the armed forces of the country or any departments of the government.
